Newquay Airport The largest commercial airport serving Cornwall is Newquay. Flying direct into Newquay offers a real alternative to the summertime long and often frustrating journey by road. Newquay is now regarded as the Surf Capital of the UK. It has developed its own unique culture and offers an exciting and varied holiday stay, with its bars and fashionable restaurants, as well as first class attractions around the county like the Eden Project, The National Maritime Museum, and the Tate at St. Ives.

Plymouth Airport is just over the Tamar River in Devon and for some parts of CornwalL, eg, far North Cornwall and the South East, this may be a better travel option than arriving into Newquay.. |
| Exeter Airport | ||
We include Exeter Airport as a service to Cornwall despite it's seeming distance from the Cornish 'border'. The road is dual carriageway to Launceston and beyond and some parts of Cornwall, especially the Launceston and Bude areas, are more easily reached from Exeter than Plymouth and Newquay. Exeter also offers alternatives in direct scheduled services, these are Birmingham, Cork, Dublin, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands. Chartered services from Exeter Airport offer a good local holiday facility in the South West. The airport is situated off the A30 at Clyst Honiton, five miles east of the cathedral City of Exeter and two miles from the A30.

| Penzance Heliport | ||
Penzance Heliport is the base for British International Helicopter (BIH) who specialise in flights to the Isles of Scilly and scenic flights around Cornwall. The Heliport is situated to the east of Penzance alongside the main A30 road and is less than a mile from the railway and bus stations.
