The U.K. Surf Rower's League
To the uninitiated this can be mistaken for gig rowing but I can assure you the two sports are very different. Derived from Australia, the craft we use are of modern construction, purpose built to tackle large surf conditions. They can be very colourful too, often decorated with sponsors logos and crews all wearing their club colours. Due to the very nature of our sport, it boasts a great appeal to spectators and a massive adrenalin rush for the crews, with a high probability for thrills and spills!
