Saturday mornings kids activities at Wadebridge Leisure Centre

The Leisure Centre provides great opportunities for kids to get that vital exercise they need  in a fun, relaxed, and safe environment.

This is a great way to learn some new skills.  A qualified F.A coach will get your child involved in some skill building exercises and progressing into 5 or 6-a-side games.

Kids will get the chance to take part in many activities including bouncy castle and soft play, trampoline, treasure hunts and more. The session has a break during which snacks may be brought along or purchased from the Gallery Cafe.

All of our staff are have an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and are fully qualified for each specific sport where appropriate.

Shapes Fitness Studio

Would all our Shapes users please note that there are a small number of restricted sessions in the Shapes Studio during the term time when the general public are not permitted to use this facility.

Alternatively, please contact the Centre reception for details of when the Shapes fitness room is not available for public use.

Shapes Fitness Room - Supersonics Juniors

There are two fully supervised sessions in the Shapes fitness room each week during the school term, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3.30 pm to 5 pm, especially for children aged 12 to 15 years.

Wadebridge Leisure Centre - what's on offer

This is a joint use centre operated by Cornwall Council but managed jointly with the school.  During term time some of the facilities are used by school pupils at certain times of the day.

25m indoor pool
4 lanes with learner pool.  The attractive wall tiles of marine creatures were designed by local schoolchildren.

Sports hall
A large court hall with a comprehensive range of programmes including aerobics, kids' clubs, basketball and badminton.  Popular for children's parties.

Squash court
Glass backed facility for casual use.  Can also be used for table tennis by arrangement.

Shapes Fitness studio
Fully equipped with modern cardio vascular and resistance equipment. Before you can use the studio you must complete an induction, cost £10.  The induction is not strenuous but will require a brief medical screening.  Please contact the centre to arrange an induction. 

As this is a joint use leisure centre, there are certain parts of the day where the shapes centre may be unavailable to the public.

Gallery Cafeteria
Enjoy a wide ranging menu in relaxed surroundings overlooking the sports hall.

Roller Disco
The centre holds roller discos in the main hall every other Saturday 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm. Contact the centre for more details.

Other activities
This centre has many sports clubs including the Swans Swimming Club, Wizards Skater Hockey Team and the Storm Basketball Club.  Available for children's parties.

Sundays and other times
The main hall is available for private hire for activities including badminton, table tennis and 5-a-side football among others, please contact the centre for details.
