Melvill House is an elegant Victorian
house tastefully turned into a comfortable private hotel. It is situated
just 150 yards from a beautiful sandy beach and a short walk from
the harbour and town centre.
The Accommodation (all rooms are non smoking): The Bedrooms are en-suite
with a choice of double, twin or family rooms, with views of the sea
or harbour. All have central heating, colour television and tea/coffee
making facilities. A ground floor bedroom is available.
Meals are served in a spacious dining room. There is a comprehensive
breakfast menu with special diets catered for.
Dinner is a three course meal using
local fresh produce whenever possible. We can discuss your likes and
dislikes and supply sample menus on request.
The comfortable sitting room is for
you, our guests, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a coffee,
use the selection of books and games available, consult guides and
brochures about the area.
