The
village of Pendoggett lies in an area of outstanding natural
beauty. The Cornish Arms is in the heart of the village which
enjoys breathtaking uninterrupted views across the Port Gaverne
valley to the sea beyond. Situated a mile or so from the sea
the area is without doubt, one of the last unspoiled places
in the British Isles. Hidden beaches and coves are just a short
drive away and close by is the tiny fishing village of Port
Isaac, where you can still watch the catch being landed. The
Cornish Arms is an excellent base for exploring both the coast
and the countryside, and is also popular with walkers and golfers.
There are five top-class golf courses within a few miles, including
the infamous St. Enodoc.

Arms serves traditional Pub food and there is a specials board
which changes daily, the emphasis being the use of all local produce
wherever possible. The Bed & Breakfast tariff also includes

family groups, each with en-suite bathroom, three wonderfully appointed

Port
Isaac harbour is a matter of yards from the Gallery
where you can find first class restaurants offering
an array of fresh locally caught seafood. There is also
a friendly local pub with a balcony overlooking the
harbour.

the Summer this working fishing village is vibrant with
with the sounds of St Breward Brass Band and the Fishermans
Friends male voice choir singing sea shanties and in
the Winter becomes a warm relaxed retreat where you
watch storms batter the rugged Cornish Coastline.

PORT
ISAAC HARBOUR (Seaview Room)
The
Gallery is in the heart of Port Isaac fishing
village which lies between the National Trust
coastal walks leading from Tintagel & Boscastle
and over to Polzeath, Rock and Padstow.
Parking
is available on Port Isaac beach at low tide
or in the car park on The Terrace at the top
of the village. Parking fees can be paid daily
or weekly.

Archer
Farm is situated in the hamlet of Trewetha just ¼ mile from Port
Isaac and Port Gaverne, a 10 minute walk through scenic unspoilt valley
land to both bays. Resplendent in 1 ½ acres of garden with a
further 12 acres of its own pasture land Archer Farm is one of the two
oldest farms in the Port Isaac area dating back to the 16 th Century
and occupies a unique position in this hidden valley encompassed by
farmland. Very close to the sea its tranquil surrounds are an ideal
base from which to explore the beauty of North Cornwall
Two double
bedrooms are available both with private bathrooms and both enjoying
total privacy from the main house. Bedroom 1 (to be named) is a spacious
and airy south facing room with triple aspect views, a king size bed,
sofa and Colour TV. Its own adjoining private bathroom comprises large
bath with mixer tap and hand held shower attachment, WC and basin. Bedroom
2 has three cottage windows facing the rear of the house overlooking
farmland. A double bed, single bed with hideaway under, sofa, colour
TV and private bathroom with small bath with mixer taps and hand held
shower attachment, WC and basin. Parking available for both bedrooms.
